They claim to be a furniture store but literally nothing was in stock. Everything had a 12-week backorder. They also sell for higher prices than their own website. Go there, find what you like, then buy it online. Better yet, just go to another furniture store.

Customer service was great, but that's where the good news ends. We bought a two computer desks for our place (8/22) and after reviewing all the paper work and, ultimately, making the purchase; the salesman gave us a date on which it would either be shipped on or arrived on. He said that if we didn't receive it by the printed date (8/27) it would be just a few more days out. It's now (9/1) and we still haven't heard anything from anybody. So, we text the salesman for some information. He comes back and says the delivery will be around (9/15).... for two UNASSEMBLED computer desks. Feeling a little angry, we called the main building and found out that the delivery date was going to be sometime in November. Needless to say, we didn't get any email regarding any delays or changes in delivery times, so if we didn't call or inquire about it, we would be in the dark not knowing anything on when we might get our desks. Long story short - we canceled. Shop here only if you want long waiting times and don't have any expectations on when you might receive what you've paid for.

I'll start with the bad, so I can end on a good note. When we placed our order, the we were told the table set was on back order - ok, no problem. Two months later with no contact from Ashley at all, I tried to call in to get in touch. No luck. The phone to the local store rings a couple times then transfers to corporate in Florida, and while the person there was very nice they can't access the computers of the Arizona stores and were therefore totally useless. Why transfer me to someplace that can't do anything, I'd rather wait on hold and eventually get through. So I went into the store and was given a date one month later. When the date got close I hadn't heard anything so I tried calling in again with the same bad luck. I tried the online chat, and over the space of 45 minutes was finally given a date one month in the future. . That date got close so I called in again and this time got through to the local store! Unfortunately they said they had no record of the promised date, and the tables were not there. I voiced my frustration and they kindly offered to refund $150 for making me wait yet another couple weeks , but at least I had a date from the local store now. That time got close and I got a voice message from them (first time in the four months since we ordered that they called me) telling the the date was being moved again, just a couple weeks - to July 4th. That was not a great date for us so I called in again - couldn't get through again, so I went in to the store again. The person was able to move it up with a specific date and told me he had record of the promised refund which would occur after the final delivery. That delivery date came and so did my furniture. Yay. But, no refund. I waited a month to give them a chance then tried to call in. As usual I got through to Florida no problem, and the corporate representative even tried to call the local store for me three times with no luck. So, following the now established pattern I went into the store to ask about it - they checked the records, found it, and put in some paperwork. Within two weeks (five months after our order) we have the refund. Summarizing the bad: - there was no contact from Ashley to us about our delayed back order; -I was unable to get a hold of anyone by phone (corporate doesn't count) other than once. - back-ordered tables took five months - promised refund would not have been given if I hadn't gone in to ask Now the good. The shopping experience was good; the sales representative was very helpful and patient. The products look nice; though I think they are a little light in construction, they should be fine if we are careful with them. The price for the set we got seems reasonable, lower than I was expecting. And I want to emphasize that in spite of my complaints above about the company's customer service, every single person I talked to was very friendly, polite, and helpful.

I set up a delivery date in the store to be two days after I purchased the nightstands. I let them know my address was not in GPS and to call me directly for directions. The driver showed up at the wrong address 30 minutes away. The driver had me speak to customer service to give them the directions which I did. Then the driver just never showed up. The customer service team called me the next day in which I had to wait 30 minutes and go through this whole thing again. I finally hung up and I guess they are scheduling me a week from now, which makes no sense. Everything is done electronically with them and there is no room for things that are out of the ordinary.

I was highly disappointed with my visit to this Ashley Furniture today. My fiancé and I came in looking for a bedroom set, cash in-hand and ready to buy. Absolutely nobody helped us, or even greeted us. And this store was NOT understaffed. A salesman even walked directly in front of us to catch up to an older couple to ask if they needed help. Another salesman stared at my fiancé as we tried to figure out what was included in a bedroom set that we loved. I can’t help but think that nobody helped us as we were the youngest couple there, probably assuming we weren’t serious buyers. This store lost $4k in sales today due to the lack of customer service we received. We found a set that we wanted to buy, but nobody wanted to help us. We left and bought an entire bedroom set at another store down the street.
