    The reason for my 2. So when I went to the establishment, it was my 1st time there. My cousin had picked it out as a new restaurant to visit. Upon walking in- the atmosphere was nice, and the decor was rustic. The cook's area was open, so they were the people we saw first. It took them a few minutes to acknowledge our presence even after looking at us a couple of times. There was a couple sitting outside talking. The waitress came and asked us (my cousin and I) if we had reservations - to which we said no. She then proceeded to "give us a heads up" that the cooks were behind as there was a previous rush, and if we decided to stay- there would be a wait on food. My cousin turns to me and says, what do you think. I replied by asking the waitress how long of a wait. She initially replied approximately 30mins. My cousin decides by saying, oh that's fine. The waitress then changes her answer to 30-45mins. We say we'll stay and she proceeded to show us to our table. When we enter, we see there's 2 other couples (both women) that are seated- one on the far side and one about 4 tables to the left of them. We got seated in the middle of them. There was also a man who came from what I assumed was the bathroom area and sat at the bar. (These were the only people in the restaurant). Due to being vegan, my cousin generally reviews the restaurant's online menu before choosing to eat at a restaurant to make sure there are suitable options. In general fashion, when we received the 1 page menu, she inquired about the options she'd seen online. We were told that some options were not available at the time so we were provided a shorter menu. We said, "no problem. We'll have water and lemon for now as we review the menu." After leaving our table, the ladies seated behind me had called the waitress over. It sounded as tho they were asking for some compensation for their meal coming out cold. After she left, the other couple (sitting behind my cousin) started to say their food came out cold as well. Both couples begin to speak on the timeframe they'd been there- hitting a minimum of 2hrs- before even being given food. They also mentioned the waitress seemed to be working alone (bartender, waitress, host) and she did provide them with the same courtesy of telling them about food as well. They gave the benefit of doubt (as we were about to) and still sat down. After conversing with the only two couples in the restaurant, my cousin and I decided we wouldn't stay. (I'd also began to look online for reviews and realized the restaurant was scheduled to close in 45mins. I'd had bad experiences in those situations previously and did not want another). On our way out, we ran into the waitress who was bringing the water and lemons. We advised her we would be leaving since they were closing soon. She'd tried to say no it was ok for us to stay but we said no thank you and left out. My cousin and I decided we would both do reviews and try again in a month or two. That's the reason my score is a 2.

    Wine was Awesome! My burger came out medium, when I ordered medium well, but still delicious. Meatballs, I recommend to everyone to try. Parking: Small parking lot, had to park at the next business over.
