This company completely botched my 1099 and said I owed penalties on a distribution I received by coding a "1" instead of a "2" in box 7 of the 1099. Despite having coded it a "2" in years prior, and years afterwards, they completely lied and said I told them that particular year (2017), that I had instructed them to code it a "1". It was a complete bald face lie. They have inexperienced, not caring employees, and then management lies to cover it up. They left me with the task of hiring an attorney and dealing with the IRS. This company is HORRIBLE - when they make an error, it will be totally your responsibility to fix it and/or pay penalties. It was a nightmare that lasted over a year due to the IRS slow response to to the pandemic. It is so nice to have it finally behind me and Edberg Perry behind me as well!

I feel sorry for anyone that has to deal with this firm!!!! They are very unprofessional and rude! Was told to never call them back after asking them if my 401k withdrawal from was faxed by them!!!!!
