If I could give this business negative stars I would. I have always been one to shop local businesses instead of big companies but this business has been a complete fail. I have called several times to inquire about purchasing an engine with no luck. I have left messages, been transferred to different people and never received a call back to obtain my business. Apparently this company has enough income coming in that they could care less to reach out to a person planning to spend thousands of dollars. To the manager reading this, get your company together and teach some basic customer service practices to your employee.

I built this hot rod back in 2006 with an engine from Phoenix. Still going strong. Just ordered an engine for my wifes 1969 Mustang.

Phoenix engine are awesome guys to work with. Randy is really knowledgeable. I bought a 302 engine 10 yrs ago for my 1969 mustang. It still runs strong today. So I decided to buy a 347 stroker engine to add some power to the car as I will be putting that 302 in a 1964 f100. Im positive this new stroker engine will be as good as the first one. Keep up the awesome work. Definetly recommend them to anyone.

I purchased a 390 FE about 6 years ago. Since I have 2 other cars I don't put many miles on any one of them in a year. They are only used for shows or gatherings. I was told to make sure I cranked it for 20 or 30 seconds with the ignition off to prime the engine. I was told after about 4000 miles the engine would be well broken in and run much better. After sitting for several hours and starting the engine it would run like it had a very radical cam. Soon it began to smoke blue smoke when it started. I've channged the valve seals twice. No help. The engine has at least 4000 miles on it. If you pull the plugs and look on the whole you can see about a table spoon of oil sitting in the cylinder. The engine also has several oil leaks. Leaks at the timing chain cover, oil pan and the rear main weeps a good amount. I've decided to replace the engine with a 351 but will purchase it from someone else. The few times I tried contacting them over the years was disappointing to say the least. I waited over a year for this engine from the time I ordered it. They were always waiting for parts. I'll be shopping somewhere else for my new engine. They seem to have a nice selection of engines. Maybe you'll be lucky and have a good experience. Addition: I pulled out and sold the 390 to a local engine builder at A very reasonable price. I have a 351 W going in its place from an internet supplier. Customers rated their engines very highly. So we're taking another chance. 380hp 400 ft lbs tq 351ci
