The two pocket door frames I ordered came in today around lunch time and I installed them this afternoon. No hiccups, no missing hardware, etc. Excellent materials and track pre-assembly! I framed my RO exactly to spec and they fit like a glove. Instructions were clear and I'm supper happy about the strength of the steel studs - even with the 2x4 wall model, they're way sturdier than the builder-grade kits I've installed in the past. Also very excited to see the action of the soft-close/open once I get the door on.
One thing that wasn't a problem, but that wasn't totally clear on the website when ordering, was that you can call/email in with your exact door size and they'll build the kit to those dimensions. I had assumed I'd have to trim it to exact dimensions on install (like most kits) and that to have them do it would have been an additional cost, so I'm glad I called them! Great customer service!
If you get the chance, definitely specify these kits for any pocket doors. You and your clients will be SO much happier!
