Ace'n Agility

I'm on my third month of classes at Ace N Agility and it's me and my dog's favorite part of each week! The instruction has been exceptional- I love how clear the communication is, each class is structured well, and the environment is supportive to patiently working with our dogs and trying things a few times to help them succeed if needed. Now that it's summer in Phoenix, it's especially great to have activities in an air-conditioned space but it's going to be just as great in winter! I can't say enough good things about taking classes with Julie! I'm on my third class with my dog, Poppy, and the training we get from Julie is making the world of difference for us. Poppy is vocal, high energy, and still working on her basics, and wow Julie is so encouraging! She has decades of experience, and can notice the smallest adjustments to make as a handler and in our training that help us make quicker progress. Also, class is just fun! It is a really great way to bond with your dog, and learn from the pros :) I do have to say the previous comment about the trainer being "gruff" is so untrue, and I would know! My dog is the one who will add stress to class, and she is always kind to us and helps make sure everyone in class is safe, learning, and having fun. Julie is a PHENOMENAL Agility Instructor who has 40 plus years of experience working with dogs!!! She is currently running my boy, CJ, in Agility and he absolutely ADORES her!!! The review by "Leo-D" is an obvious mistake, as Julie's facility is Indoor and she is FAR from being "gruff". Julie is a knowledgeable, positive trainer. Her training facility is well equipped with a variety of agility equipment. All classes are held indoors which is great in the AZ heat.
