Stacey Zittel DDS PC

I like the service and staff but I do not like the intransparecy. They do stuff without telling you what they cost and you end up with a hefty bill for things you did not need.

Best dentist and team ever! Dr. Stacey Zittel and her team are always amazing...I actually like going to the dentist! Dr. Zittel and team (especially Sandi and Denise) are alwasy so thorough, excellent listeners, gentle and kind. And believe me...don't miss your dentist appointment cuz I finally got back to my beloved Dr. Zittel after getting my Covid vacs...and it turned out that I had a bad tooth that had to come out. Through the years this tooth required two root canals and I had been having pain all through the pandemic, but I thought it was sinus issues. First dental hygienist, sweet Sandi (she is always PERFECT, so gentle and so good at her job) spotted a potential problem and then she and Dr. Zittel confirmed it with my Xray. Not only did they reassure me that moving forward with the extraction procedure would be the right thing (and urgent since the tooth was infected) to do...then Denise in the front office actually called an excellent oral surgeon and scheduled it to happen just three hours later that day! That also went well. Stacey Zittel has been our dentist since my kids were small. My kids then saw a pediatric dentist and then once they were all grown up, they went right back to Dr. Zittel. Dr. Zittel also referred us to the best pediatric dentist as well. You can count on Dr. Z and team to be so nice to work with, so gentle, so thorough and they also have the best referrals for dental work that needs to be done outside of their practice. I highly recommend Dr. Zittel and team! We have gone to them for over 20 years!

At first I was very impressed and happy I found this office since my previous dentist randomly closed one day. Before my xrays were done I asked to have the office staff double check my coverage for both my husband and myself. I was advised we were good to go and covered. Turns out, that was not true...I filed an appeal through my insurance and was denied, because my husbands xrays were done 10 days too soon. Had anyone told us, I would’ve had my husband wait 10 days. I paid my balance and will be finding a new dentist.

I have been a patient at this office for many years, and only have positive things to say about them! The hygienist Yvonne is so gentle with cleaning my teeth, and very personable. The front office staff are professional and excellent with communication in regards to billing and my appointments. Dr. Zittel is an excellent dentist, who takes her time with each appointment.

My experience was finding out they billed insurance $1350 for a crown when the year before my previous dentist billed insurance $900. As a comparison the difference between the two years for the root canals billing was only $12. Then when I called to make the additional payment over the phone the person taking my money was complaining to me about how difficult it was to work with my insurance company after I pointed out the great discrepancy between how much they billed my insurance! Unprofessional and exorbitant bill to insurance.
