I have been a member of Genesis Church since August of 2003. We started as a set up and tear down Church in a Grammer school. We moved into the Rock At 32nd Street in 2012 with a partnership with Alice Cooper. We have been extremely blessed to have amazing Pastors, Youth Pastors and Worship leaders. Our lead Pastor is Ryan is a dynamic speaker, an amazing spiritual advisor,  and  a great  church leader.  Joe and DJ are great assistant pastors and  do an amazing job with the youth and with all their duties in the church.  It is easy to love your Church when you are on the mountain top but harder when you are in valleys. Genesis has been there for me in my wife's long terminal illness as well as my own health challenges.  If you need a Church to join that will help you to grow spiritually and  become part of a family look no further than Genesis.

This isnt one of those churches where you have to speak a bunch of Christian Jargon in order to fit in.
It isnt one of those perfect churches, full of perfect people with a perfect pastor either.
In fact its quite the opposite its full of imperfect people, with an imperfect pastor and staff passionately pursuing Jesus.
So dont come here if youre seeking perfection.
Come here if youre seeking community with real people with real struggles who do not hide their scars. Or tattoos for that matter.
Its not a flashy hipster church. There isnt any of those holier than thou attitudes to be bothered with either.
The vibe is pretty laid back there, you can come just as you are. Its a simple church setting with all kinds of people, rich in diversity and age groups.
Service is only one hour each Sunday from 10 -11 am. Coffee and tea, are served each week by friendly faces that will make you feel welcomed, like you belong.
Live church steaming is available online through their FB page or their YouTube channel.
Theres even a Podcast of past half hour sermons to listen to, making listening to the gospel easier than ever; and the pastor has such a gift in presenting the word of God in such a fresh new way, balancing preaching and teaching in a way only few pastors can.
You wont feel condemned but instead compelled by Gods spirit once you leave here!
They have a kids program for infants through 10 years old. Although, classes are very small and age groups are combined, it works well for this small church setting.
Kids in Jr.High and older will have to join their families during Sunday services but its okay because several of their peers are able to volunteer on Sundays by singing or playing on stage, and elsewhere.
This is truly a church that invest in the next generation, that treats their youth members like they matter.
They even have a separate Youth Service on Wednesday nights from 6-8 with food being provided every other week!!
Its been my familys church that we call home for the past 7 years and its been exciting to see all that God is doing through this small yet impactful place!
But what I love most about this church is, its sweet sense of brother and sisterhood that you wont find anywhere else!
Youll really feel like youre apart of a healthy family here.
