One star only because I went there today and there is a sign in the window that says they are permanently closed. Devastated! What happened???

Ok place, food ok, need to work on their customer service. No salt and pepper at our table (I had to get the salt and pepper shakers from another table and when I got the pepper, no pepper in shaker.). Had to ask for my water to be refilled and we received no refills for our coffees. They forgot the red chili sauce on our breakfast burrito so we had to wait. When our food finally came out the food was warm not hot. Parking was horrible. I expected much more for their expensive menu.

This restaurant may look like an average neighborhood eating spot from the outside, however, that is not the case! My wife and I frequent here often and met with three friends on a late Sunday afternoon, and was immediately greeted by the awesome staff and the incredible ambience with the sun lowly shining through the windows above the entry door as it was setting. The food is phenomenal! Simple in presentation and great complexity in flavor. We ordered the wings to share: one with the house sauce the other with the habanero. The habanero was awesome! They had these Parmesan tots on their restaurant week menu, and it’s amazing the taste bud party one can have from the combination of potatoes formed like little barrels with unpasteurized milk that makes your day. I decided to try the MB Cheese Steak as I regularly order a burger every time we go, and was not disappointed. They use tri-tip for their meat and it almost feels as if you’re back east having one in downtown Philly. My wife ordered the Carbonada Criolla stew (something different for her) and let me tell you; words cannot explain the euphoria I encountered in tasting this masterpiece. You definitely have to try it for yourself. One of our friends ordered the Jerk Chicken (tender with great spice), her husband ordered The Mother Of All Burgers and it is definitely not for one who’s eyes are bigger than their stomach. The last friend ordered the Crown Burger. I never had it before, but really considering it along with the cheesesteak as my 1 & 2 whenever we go. It has the burger topped with corned beef, Swiss cheese, thousand Island dressing, and red pickled cabbage on a brioche bun. Greatness! Lastly, our waitress Hayley was out of this world! Definitely the icing on the cake! As I said earlier do not let appearances fool you! The curb appeal may appear the regular everyday brick building, but the food, people and vibe are fantastic! Perfect for groups or the occasional lazy Sunday afternoon. Check it out!
