The Whining Pig Ahwatukee

This is your typical Whining Pig - small-ish beer-based bar, lots of chalk boards & fun games, small amount of seating and food selection (gotta love their paninis!). My friends and I call this the JCPenney Pig for obvious location reasons. The husband and wife team who man this Pig really care about their business and the patrons. Since I've moved to the area, I notice they do a lot of trivia nights and hosted beer industry nights. It's noticed that they a good job of marketing them online. The trivia themes vary which is great to bring in different audiences... some themes are much more popular than others (Mean Girls was a packed house).Like any Whining Pig, they have a wonderful beer selection, wines, ciders, and sometimes mead and seltzers. Usually they'll give you a sample taster if you're unsure of what to order, unless it's a canned drink. The beer list changes all the time (yay!), and the prices are fairly reasonable for a beer bar. They do have happy hour prices on some drinks- but haven't yet seen them as I usually come for trivia.Make sure to check in on Yelp for a fun perk!
