        My husband and I look forward to our weekly visits to Essence Bakery. Its well worth the 45 minute drive! The quality of ingredients and pastries in our opinion are unsurpassed in AZ and beyond. The friendly owners and staff are delightful! The combination make it a place we readily recommend to friends.

        I had heard this place had a cult following. Now I understand why. Their cheese croissant was one of the best Ive ever had. The mini espresso flavored macaron was perfectly made. The salad I got was solid but was definitely outshined by the pastries, like as the quiche my friend ordered. The best quiche Ive ever tasted. The wait was long (not a very fast team) but thats the French way with food, is it not? The girl at the POS was attentive and kindly answered my questions about the menu. I plan to return. The food was well worth the wait!
