RENT-A-LIFT

Nobody answered the phone when I called this business. I was quite disappointed to learn that there are no DIY garages in this area.Not a good sign.

New owner? Same type business? Hope you keep at least one lift for limited customer purposes. As the only one, great opportunity to reorganize with an improved business plan. Don't give up.

Called night before said no appointment necessary and shop would open at 9 am. Arrived at 9 am and was greeted by a gentleman who told me the owner wasn't in and I would not be able to get my car in until he does. I called the owner he said he would arrive 1030. I left and returned at 1040 owner still not on-site. Waited an additional 30 minutes for him to arrive. He told me the rate would be 30 for the first hour which is double what I was quoted. His reasoning was my 01 pathfinder would not fit on his normal sized lifts and I would have to use his larger lift. Anyone who has ever been around a shop knows my 01 pathfinder would fit on any automobile lift. I went along with it for the sake of getting my work done. I was then told I would have to pay up front for 2 hours even though I would realistically be only an hour or just over. When I refused to pay the higher cost for the longer rate up front the owner became belligerent and said I had to leave. Do not waste your time with this shop.
