The residents are nice and enjoy visiting with others, but when it comes to working there I feel bad since we was never in one building to know the routine for each resident and no open door policy even though they say there is

They have coworkers who have COVID-19 working with residents and pushing them to come to work while having the virus and even though weed is legal now , some of the coworkers use their own personal medical marijuana card to buy residents what they ask for . This place should be shut down . They don't follow state guidelines, and they definitely go against health requirements .

Warning, I would not do business with this location. My mom was a resident there due to some complicated elder abuse issues I had to become my mother's Guardian/conservator. Because of this it required me to complete documents with the court pertaining to her care, a lot of these documents had to completed by the doctors and staff at the care facility. Last year I had requested the documentation from them and called them multiple times requesting that they complete it because I had to get this done for the court and multiple times (over 15) they ignored my request. It was so bad that the attorney we had hired withdrew himself from the case because we could not get the documentation from the facility. This cost us 1000's of extra dollars because we had to hire a new attorney with a new retainer and all. It also got me in trouble with the court because it was a required yearly document. Finally, after almost a full year after initially requesting the documentation, my sister was able to get it from them. My siblings told me to let it go because the nursing staff and her care was good, which I did. Sadly, about a month ago my mother passed away literally 2 days after the care facility charged us the full month when my mother had died on the 3rd of the month. We inquired about this, and the director told us that normally takes a month for a refund to be resolved but given the circumstances with the court she would see what she could do, and we could expect to hear from her within 7-10 days. Two weeks went by, and we heard nothing I placed a call asking for a return call checking on the status as we were trying to avoid this going into the next years accounting which would cost us $1000s more in attorney fees three phone calls made not one return call. Then I spoke with the person in the office who was in charge of the financials I explained that we had spoken with the director, and she said she would check on this and we would hear something from her within 7-10 days and we had heard nothing. The lady had the audacity to say, Well thats a lie. I told her it was not and that was what we were told. An argument ensued with her constantly talking over me, telling me I did not know what I was talking about and being very rude. Multiple time I requested to speak with the director to which she refused and then hung up on me. I called back the same finance person answered I requested the number of the corporate office which she refused and hung up on me again. I called back a third time the reception answered I asked for the number for corporate which she started giving me until I could hear the finance lady tell her to hang up on me. I emailed the director requesting that she personally call me, and she did not even do the courtesy of a phone call she emailed back and played it off like it was no big deal and gave me no resolution. This place has zero organization, zero communication skills and zero empathy. I would be very wary to place any loved one there especially given the fact that is expensive. The only reason I gave it two stars and not one is the nursing staff is attentive and they physically took good care of her.

We made the difficult decision to place my mom here two years ago. Prior to placing her we toured at least a dozen other facilities and this was by far our favorite. The residents seem happy and the staff seemed to genuinely care for the residents. My mom has dementia but is relatively young and physically healthy. All she wants to do all day is walk. And borrow other residents stuffed animals. The staff gives her the freedom to have her quirks. The first six months she refused to sleep in her bed. They allowed her to sleep on the couch in the common area and would cover her up once shed drifted off. We soooo appreciated the kindness they showed her. They recognize the residents dont always think or behave the way the rest of us do and the are accommodating to every residents special needs. The grounds are setup to enable this more open and free environment. The residents can roam between two cottages and get plenty of exercise and social stimulation all while being safely fenced in. The staff is excellent. There have been times when I havent been terribly thrilled with the attitude of a staff member here or there but they dont last long. Its clear the leadership cares about the quality of their personnel. I really have nothing but positive things to say. My mom is loved and cared for by committed staff. Five stars without hesitation!
