    I lived at Crestone at Shadow Mountain from 2016-2021. Two different units, after the first two years I moved in to a remodeled unit. The only reason I moved out is because in April of 2021 I decided to move out of state. Well Colorado is cold haha so I'm moving back to Arizona and hoping there is an available unit at Crestone. I totally understand that people have different experiences but I don't have anything negative to say. Not many repairs needed but when I did put in a work order everything was completed in a timely manner. You can't necessarily blame the management for the actions of other tenants. Anyway, reading the reviews I felt I needed to add one.

    What a great community! Beautiful, quiet property. Lots of dog lovers (my kind of people). Excellent, responsive staff. I looked at this property a few times in the past during my tedious search for the perfect place. Always drawn back to Crestone -- great vibes here! A special thanks to Sherri, who sealed the deal for me on my most recent tour. She is so friendly and professional! Jessica and Vince are also wonderful and attentive. Thanks to all of you! I love living here!

    Updated review! This is the worst management team and property management team!! They are unresponsive, un-knowledgeable, and incompetent. Please do yourself a favor and go somewhere where you be valued and appreciated as a tenant. This review was left in 2019- I HHHHAAAATTTTEEEE LIVING HERE!!! I CANT WAIT UNTIL MY LEASE IS UP SO I CAN MOVE! I WILL NEVER RECOMMEND LIVING HERE TO ANYBODY! I HAVE LIVED HERE IN PEACE FOR OVER A YEAR AND THE STAFF IS HORRIBLE! I CAN NEVER GET ANY REAL HELP! ITS ALWAYS IM SORRY THATS THE POLICY! I HATE IT HERE!

    Lack of urgency, professionalism and ethics. Current resident since May 2021. My biggest complaint would be that it has been 5 weeks since I've had a makeshift internet/router setup due to the communities refusal to acknowledge my need and desire to have it repaired. This is completely unacceptable as I work from home in the media industry and REQUIRE a hardwired connection. Over 4th of July weekend we had a power outage that fried the network portal in my living room, rendering it useless. I had Cox out who confirmed the wiring and portal was fried and that it needed to be REPAIRED BY THE COMMUNITY. As a temporary solution, the router was moved to the master bedroom where the only other network port in the apartment is. I am currently operating off of spotty wifi. That night I set up a maintenance request expecting someone to call me the next day and set up an appointment with an electrician. Guess what they did? The lazy clowns called Cox to ask them if I have an internet connection!!!! Blatantly ignoring any and all instructions given to them, they come and leave a paper on my table that says "called cox to confirm internet connection. connection confirmed". After that, I filed another maintenance request, which was ignored and closed out completely. Other issues: In addition to that, we still have unfinished, unpainted dry wall in the master bedroom due to a water leak, they were supposed to order paint and return, this has been 5-6 months ago at this point. Washer and dyer are old and damage clothes consistently by ripping and twisting them. The gate to the community has been open for 7-8 months now allowing anyone to freely roam in and out of the community. Frequent sink water leaks and clogged drains. Consistent A/C issues . About every 4 months since living here I've lost cooling to the apartment. The most recent time I was without cooling for 3 days. Conclusion: The overall lack of care of professionalism by the people in charge here is disturbing. Everyone on staff deserves to be fired and fined for the way they've made people live. Lawsuit likely incoming unless everything is resolved within 30 days and that is being generous.
