Satara Thai Cuisine

We loved it. The food was beetre than most places. A little americanized, but still very good. The service could have been better, but the servers are young and not experienced, so I give them a break. He was very personable though an did try. We will definitely be going back. the only place I like better is Siam off of 51 and northern. the restaraunt was tastefully designed and has a great layout.

Absolutely amazing! Great customer service and the food is to die for! Hands down best green curry in AZ! Also, the sake is delicious!

Great appetizers, good food, but service was bad. Bring a good book and ask for two drinks, it'll be a while.

I'm a big fan of Satara. I've tried about 15 different spots around the state. Prescott has an impressive Thai place as well. Satara is on 83rd west of Paradise near Bell road. I dig how they don't have as much of a traditional Thai flavor per say but mix things up by using bold flavors. They tend to be a little heavier on the sauce and flavors but it never is so much as to disrupt the texture, consistency and finish of the flavor. It truly adds a complex finish that rests on your pallete and leaves your tongue begging for more. The various meats are always cooked and prepared well with little to no gristle and fat on the steak or chicken. The seafood is top shelf with the scallops being a definite highlight. Don't be offput by the lavish interior or the variety of wines and customized wine storage compartments when you walk in. The prices on the food are near typical thai fare and the original take on some Thai classics are enough to make Satara stand out in a crowd of many similar, traditional Thai restaurants in the valley.
