    I had my first appointment with Dr. Purcell and my experience was great! I have anxiety when it comes to cleanings, and everyone from the technician who took my x-rays to Kathi who cleaned my teeth were so friendly and gentle. I highly recommend Dr. Purcells office.

    UPDATED: See their response below --- still no sense of issue ownership or mention that I called them 2 days ahead to make sure everything was ok. #NoAccountabilty. I recently had an extremely disappointing experience with the office of Purcell Family Dentistry. I chose them based on their affiliation with my new insurance, Delta Dental. Two days ahead of my appointment, to avoid any possible inconveniences, I contacted the office explaining I hadnt received my insurance card yet but had written confirmation of coverage from the broker and asked the office what I should do. I spoke with Vicki, provided all necessary details, and even offered to share documentation for validation and/or defer the appointment. Vicki assured me that attending my appointment would be no issue. However, on the day of appointment, 15 minutes after my scheduled appointment, a different associate claimed I was not insured and then went onto explain their insurance verification process. When I reiterated my prior conversation with Vicki and offered to again present my documents, she seemed disinterested and continued to repeat their process for insurance verification, speaking over me at times. To my surprise, after inquiring, I discovered Vicki was seated right next to her and all the while, appeared to act oblivious of our conversation. After a prolonged wait of almost an hour, the same associate again insisted I wasn't covered, again refusing to reach out to the broker for clarification after my explaining to them for now, a third time. Their lobby prominently displays a sign (attached) about the financial penalties they impose for patient no-shows that they dont incidentally, tell you about over the phone. When I pointed out the irony of their oversight compared to their stringent expectations from patients, the response was not only dismissive but also met with a snicker. This experience was a stark contrast to the standards they seemingly expect from their patients. The lack of responsibility, dismissal of patient provided documentation, and complete absence of any form of apology left a sour taste. It raises questions: if this is the front office's approach, what might one expect from their medical care?

After several attempts from our staff, Delta Dental was unable to confirm your benefits and the at the time of your visit. They unfortunately did not have you or the employer in their system. We recommend that you contact your broker and/or HR department who may have details as to why your benefits are not currently active in Delta Dental's System.Thank you
