I wouldn't recommend this place to my worst enemy. I initially gave this place a good review but forgot to come back and change it, so here goes. My PT talked with me on my very first appointment. After that, I only saw him long enough to say hi. I worked with barely trained gym staff. They could tell you which exercises to do but didn't know what area of the body it was helping or how it helped. I came in one day with worse than usual back pain. I asked the staff to let my PT know. I was hoping that he could do some massage, ultrasound or E-Stem. They told him, but he didn't even bother to come say hi. That was my last appointment. In the 10-12 appointments I had, the PT never once touched my back, which was why i was there. I spoke with the PT on the phone later on the day I quit. When I complained that he couldn't be bothered to do his job and check on me. He said, "You always have back pain. How was I supposed to know your pain was worse than usual." I guess if you listened to the gym staff and take the time to actually see the patients on your schedule, you'd know how they were feeling. Most of the patients are 50 years old or older. That's not a bad thing because I fit in that category. But there's no energy to help keep you motivated. They had a PT who was so old that he didn't even lift his feet as he walked. He just shuffled them. Don't waste your time going here.

Reply: Hi Susan, Thank you for taking the time to give us your feedback. I’m sorry that your experience with us was not what you had expected. We are always looking for ways to improve our care and create a better experience for our patients. You are correct that good communication with your therapist is important. It is helpful to understand how and why the plan of care was created - in this situation being an exercise based program over a passive program of modalities. But you are correct, clear communication would have made it a better experience all around. We are very grateful for our staff. By design, we hire students during their educational pursuits - oftentimes working toward a career in the medical field. As a result we get high quality individuals who are invested in their education and learning. Like any industry, we appreciate patience if new staff is training. We have a good mix of populations in our clinic ranging generally from young teenagers up through retirement age. I’m not sure why you felt that there was limited energy when you were here. We tend to see energetic participation from all ages and a supportive community as patients encourage each other through their rehab. As far as the comment about the “old” therapist - was this a comment that was intended to provide a learning or growing opportunity for us? Or was this maybe a less meaningful comment? Again, we look forward to feedback. We learn and grow along with you. We are grateful for our many years of successful practice and look forward to ongoing improvement. As you may be aware, we do not know who you are given the limited information available on Google reviews. If you would like to contact us directly we could identify who your therapist was and review your plan of care. We do appreciate your feedback and would appreciate the opportunity to visit with you so we can further improve our services.
