Wildside Pets

Wildside has been our go to pet store for all of our exotic pet needs. From terrarium's to feeder mice/rats weve always gone to Wildside Pet Store. Recently, we asked a question about our snow corn snakes tail. It had turned an orange-ish color at this time and we were basically told not to worry about it and were brushed off. I felt the staff should be somewhat knowledgeable in changes to the pet in questions appearance and recommend a vet visit instead of oh dont worry about it. Within a day or two her tail had gone completely limp and red. We took her to an exotic pet vet and ended up losing her, but maybe had we been told something different we might still have our snake. Im not going to completely blame the staff for not encouraging us to take our snake to the vet. Its our fault for thinking a teenager could have the answer. Its a few teenagers running the show in that store, so what should I really expect. Anyways, I went back yesterday to buy a live rat for our ball pythons dinner. We opened the box to get the rat out and there were three to four worm/maggot looking things in the box with the rat. I was completely disgusted and pretty sure we wont be returning for our pet needs any longer.

I purchased 4 aquatic plants from the wild side pets. And I've been very pleased with the purchase. I encourage everyone to stop in and check it out And most likely they'll have what you're looking for. Decent variety for a small pet store.
