Gateway Park

While it is a park it is not what people would think of as a park. It is around an acre and has a sidewalk. Trees, grass, benches. You might think of it more as a rest stop while walking?

Do NOT go to this park. I came here thinking it was going to be an actual park to walk in. Basically, it's just a small patch of grassy area in front of a downtown building with a yellow statue. There is a basic concrete bench and I guess only good thing is you get some shade from the trees while there which is a nice relief in the AZ summers. Also, there's no off-street parking - unless I suppose you park in the Pete's restaurant lot which is a minute walk away- only 30 min parking allowed there.
