Tom came in. Very upfront about we don't get paid unless you're totally happy. His guys came in. Got to work. Lost a day due to a work truck breaking down. These guys said we'd need 1 primer coat, 2 coats of the color we selected. We were covering up a metallic paint color. Paint is sprayed.
Tom is already looking to get paid even though I have not seen the work as I was out of town for business. Meanwhile my girlfriend had already made a list of things. Tom is itching to get paid. I get the payment ready... we meet and he sees that his 1) guys did a terrible job edging (Grey walls / White Ceiling). There are areas where the existing metallic paint show through. Tom is notified we are unhappy. He says he's coming to take a look. He says no problem. I'll have a crew come back and do the touch ups. He flaked out.. ducked my calls and would text "I'll call you back ".
I hound him until I give up. I contact Jerry. Jerry seems unaware. States he will have Tom call me. He does and then states that they're done painting for the season and don't have any crews and that they are switching to HVAC. That he didn't have any crews to paint!!!
Somehow I am convinced that when paint season comes back he is going to make good on it. I ask him if in the mean time if he could sell us paint to touch up their poor work. He agrees. Doesn't follow up. Colder weather / Paint season comes around.. I reach out to Tom.
I even hang a carrot for him being that I convince my HOA to list him in the community newsletter as a preferred vendor to do the approved colors for exterior. He flakes again and doesn't call or follow up! What kind of IDIOT turns down that opportunity to duck fixing what he promised he would. $3,200 wasted. If I had time I'd take him and Jerry to court. But the satisfaction of my giving the HOA opportunity to someone else is better! Lesson learned.. if they say "you don't pay till you're happy" then don't pay till you're happy.

2016 blue fox came out to paint our house. They did an amazing job,
they were here on time and finished on time. Tom and his staff were very professional & friendly.

Great job on exterior painting! Best part was he didn't need any money down to start the job. Tom was great to work with as well.

My dad's house was built in the historic district in downtown Mesa. This house was built over 40 years ago and man!!! Does it need some house work done! Luckily, Blue Fox Painting made the house look 2016 brand new! I am so impressed with the exterior paint job that has been done. Literally, the paint job itself gives me so much more hope with how our family home will come together. BLUE FOX ROCKS!!
