Trillium Specialty Hospital East Valley

Don't walk; RUN from this facility.  I was there in 2010 following a heart attack and triple bypass CABG at Desert Banner Hospital.  I was dumped here after I stroked out at Desert Banner.  I would say this was nothing but a Vegtable warehouse.  They did not provide any meaningful rehabilitation.  Thank God my Sister found HealthSouth.David Wedell

They gave my mother a drug called Ativan (Lorazapam) and in some elderly people, it causes terrible hallucinations, and when it did, you think they stopped giving her doses of it? Not at all, they strapped her to the bed, and gave her a stronger dose! She had visions of devils trying to pull her down into Hell, and she tore the skin on her arms trying to get free. Also she wanted a woman to clean her after using a bed pan, but it was a man named Wes, who did it even after she said she didn't want a man to do that. A nurse that I know told me that everyone in geriatric healthcare knows about the Ativan allergy in elderly and HAD to know to stop administering it when a patient shows signs of adverse reactions to the drug. Read reviews about this place it is a very bad place to send your loved ones. My mom was never the same after her stay in this death trap, she never came back mentally, and died of complications to dementia, and didn't show signs of it before the stress they put her under.
