        It is sad to say, the Bavarian Point Tavern is closed. The owner had a heart attack and retired. We will all miss this place. No news on reopening as of May 1st.

        Rating 5 stars because the food was absolutely perfect. I got the steak sandwich and from presentation to taste it exceeded all expectations. However my drink and service from the bartender was not as expected. Not only did she have no cocktail knowledge (meaning I had to tell her what's in a Bahama Mama a very common standard drink) but her execution was terrible. She built the drink in a shaker and then poured the hole thing into a glass giving me a watered down drink. Also there was drink leftover after pouring it into the glass telling me her measurements were all off. Definitely could be a great place but need to get someone with a little more knowledge behind the bar. I have bin bartending about 5 years and even I know better than to do the things she did. If your ever looking for a replacement just let me know lol. But otherwise wonderful place owner is very nice !
