They lost the diamond from my engagement ring. The manager Laurie said " I will only charge you what we loaned you on it." This was so I could get my ring back. Umm. Without the diamond! Seriously, like that is gonna make up for you losing it! I am currently waiting for this to get resolved!!!!

This one star technically represents a negative 1 because from the moment I walked into this particular stire I realized the experience was not going to be very good. Based soley on the actions of the employees that were there "working". Not one employee greeted my two young, well behaved and sharp children and I when we entered the door. I approached the lady that wasn't talking amongst the others but there were atleast 6 employees sitting behind the counters/registers/buyers desks/ whatever it's called, and never budged until I asked to look at something. I asked about an item by name (value doesnt really matter but the item is valued at over $2k) and the young lady who huffed and puffed as she got up to "help" us walked past what I was prospectively ready to purchase as I am pointing at it. Meaning she wasn't paying attention and was not engaged. Meanwhile my children are playing video games on their own devices, sitting quietly and patiently as I shopped and following me as I cruised through the store, touching nothing. As I am looking thoroughly through it to see if any of the desirable on my list may be there awaiting, no one else spoke to my children or I, just watched us and talked amongst themselves yet keeping a "close eye on our whereabouts" in the store... making is feel uncomfortable. As I awaited for the young lady to come back to hear the best price for the item I was intetested in, a manager or supervisor or whomever he was, as he didn't announce who he was, but he was the only male amongst the group of employees there and came from the back of the store so..... anyways... he stated the price was firm and would not be negotiable... I shop a lot... internationally, domestically, locally, hell i am a vendor muself seasonally and i have never seen such nonchalant disregards for general service in ones choice in job.. I shop at a few different stores of this chain and I must say the employees in this store provided no customer service experience whatsoever, hell, they weren't even friendly. When I questioned the condition of the item and the fact that there were physical pieces missing and that the amount that they are asking is too high, even online you can get them refurbished for less... and the comment that was thrown by one of the employees was that people's children come in and break things and they have no control over that. Making me feel like my children were somehow being blamed for the brokeness of their storefront. And they just stared at me with this almost inhuman like glare and made no effort to communicate further almost like I didn't deserve to be begin any service!! In unison! I saw no "white" employees in the store and no "black" ones either from my memory but i saw plenty of attitudes... it is a shame that people dont realize that this type of sad excuse for customer service is poor and is how business get closed down!!! There are plenty of other Super Pawns to go to within the radius of this one and I feel sorry for the people who purcahse the trash that they purchase from people in that store and then want to resell it and blame the item's condition on the shopping customers!! I had $4000.00 cash in an envelope from WF that I was ready to spend on a project that I am putting together and was hoping to purcahse a few things here but with the disrespectful people that work there not one penny of my money will be spent there!! I will continue to shop in Tempe and Chandler! Keep your trashy attitudes and items! Whomever stated that it was pawned that way after a different person attempted to throw all customer's children under the bus and say they are the ones who destroy items for sale in the pawnshop rather than it being that they actually pawned it that way.... either way it was clear no one in the store had any desire to service me and my kids! Lost out on a sale over a stereotype and judgement on the looking at someone's surface! The behavior of the entire staff was very poor and I know this isn't their first time treating people who look like me this way as it was done in unison.
