The Rusty Buck was a great spot to stop on a solo road trip I took. It's surrounded by beautiful National Forests and is in a great little mountain town.
I didn't get to explore much because it was snowing, but I didn't mind being stuck in the room, that's for sure!
The bathroom was clean and had pretty high quality toiletries. And the towels were the fluffiest I've ever used.
The staff was super lovely when I was booking and even looked up how far the inn was from some of my destinations. They really went above and beyobd.
Rooms: Fabulous and clean. Great mattress and bedding.
Safety: There is a manager to contact in case of emergency. That made me feel better as a solo traveler.

The new owners have done a wonderful job restoring this inn. The rooms are decorated in such a way that you feel you are in a comfortable home. From the leather chairs to the hand crafted bistro table, cedar plank ceiling to the new wood floors and rug it was one of the cutest rooms I have rented. The rustic feel with the lantern lamps and eight point buck print on the wall, its perfect place to stop if you are in the area. The court yard with picnic tables, carved figures surrounded by the newly painted exterior makes this quite charming. So glad we made the call last night as we were driving through the area and decided to stop and stay here. Highly recommend it!

Wonderful little inn in Heber. Easy to check in on phone with code for room entry. Lovely remodel. Great WiFi. Super comfy bed and pillows. Great food options nearby
