I stayed here for 3 days and it was great. The lodge itself has lots of shopping, a great restaurant, and pretty good wifi.

If there were wi-fi or better cell phone reception (no T-mobile or other Google Fi affiliate), it would have been 5 stars. We were off-season, so the rate was a bargain. Very nice setting. Room was completely clean despite being dog-friendly (my dog agrees they were friendly). Free Tesla charging a short walk away near another group of rooms. Also walking distance to the tavern that had very good beer. Convenient to buses to get you to the more expensive areas where you can view the canyon or all the old white people (other than us). Very serene area in an otherwise crowded park.

I would stay here again. It was a little walk from the lobby to the rooms but as long as you have a flashlight or prepared to walk in the dark it is ok. I also stayed out later and got up early to see the sunrise. The rooms were nice and warm since we had a snow storm earlier that day. Pretty simple but I wasn't spending that much time in my room since I had the Grand Canyon to look at.
