Awesome company, people, and quality workmanship! I had a complete makeover of my back yard and front yard complete overhaul. I had travertine tile installed and the tile line around the pool replaced. I also had the sheer descent in the pool replaced as the original was leaking.  The front yard was also made over. Luis the team lead works with you every step of the way and Shari will work with you for payment and final walk through etc. Both are very responsive and communicate with you directly. Doug and his team served our family in Gilbert for years, then we moved. We've referred them many times, they are the absolute best. In 2019 I contracted with this company for a remodel. I took 3 bids and ended up picking the most expensive after the initial consultation experience and reading reviews. The first problem was the newly installed light system that took 10 months to finally fix.Next issue was the tile grout falling out.Then, a "blemish" occurred months later when the resurfaced pool deck was compromised with a bubble that exposed the concrete.  The contractor included a 2 year warranty on the deck. The contractor told me he would send his crew over to make the repair.Repeated attempts to get the contractor out for the repair were unsuccessful during the COVID year. While my heart goes out to the family for the loss of the owner, his wife taking over the business is less than desirable. I finally got a response from her and she promised to send a representative over to make the repairs. I was ghosted immediately afterwards.Now I'm left to pay out of pocket for the repair. Perhaps I can recoup my extra "out of pocket" costs through small claims court.You've been warned...

Just had Desert Gator redo our pool deck and we couldn't be happier. Doug's employees were hard workers that were busy the whole time. Everything went as planned and the deck turned out gorgeous. We strongly recommend Desert Gator.

I called to get a quote on acid wash and other services to our pool. Doug, the owner, came out and quoted. He was nice and sounded very knowledgeable. I hired him to do an acid wash. He sent another guy (also Doug, apparently both from MI) out to do the wash. While draining, the guy had a back-flush hose with tons of holes that leaked all over yard and plants. When he said he was almost done, I asked if he was going to remove more of the stains. He reluctantly went over some of the areas I pointed out and they looked better but not a great job. I went out front when he was loading equipment up and noticed his truck on my driveway. I asked if it leaked oil and he said no. After he left I looked at the driveway and there was indeed oil as well as acid stains! Their website says "family owned, family run" but not family doing the work. Doug, the owner, told me he has guys that do all the work and he just runs the company. I would not recommend this company.
