Rental Advisor - Vacation Rentals Made Easy

*revised* AirBnb cancelled my reservation when my credit card expired (I was unaware and they did not warn me). That should not have happened and was AirBnb's fault. I received a notification by email from Rental Advisor that the place we booked was cancelled. The notification was sent in the evening and I called the very next morning. After speaking with a Rental Advisor's rep I was left with the impression the company was doing every thing they could to help us (they stated they were contacting the host/trying to find us another place to stay). I waited patiently for a call back (like they said they would). Waited all day and received no call back. I called the next morning, rep was acting like they didn't know what I was talking about. I explained the situation all over again. And again the rep said they were going to do everything they could to help me. I wasn't looking for other places because I trusted what they told me (silly me). And they knew I had a family of 13 coming from 3 different states. I kept calling, and calling..told me the same thing. Finally, they tell me there was nothing they could do. It's 2 days out and we have nowhere to stay. If the customer service just told me there was nothing they could do from the beginning (making me think they were working on it and finding us a place to stay) then we would have saved a lot more money/time...we had to find a place 40 minutes from our original place and pay a lot more. Very disappointed on how Rental Advisor handled the situation.

One of the worst company to deal with. To do any kind of booking they are asking all family member details. I would give them zero star. It is all privacy issue...

Rental Advisor is a top notch company. They have been managing our vacation rental in Park City and have done an amazing job. They increased our number of nightly rentals, and always take great care of our property. I highly recommend them.

I wouldn't use Rental Advisor. When you look a their reviews you will notice that the positive reviews are from employees of the company and not actual guests or homeowners. Devin Moncur owns the company and asks often for employees and their families to leave positive reviews. It's a deceptive practice. Customers beware.
