Sensei Steve and his team are the best in Chandler!! The studio is friendly, inviting and the kiddos love coming every week... the space is lovely, lots of windows and plenty of parking :0) great location and staff!!!

I love this Dojo! Genuinely caring personnel that take the time to teach not just techniques, but to promote self-discipline and socialization skills as well. It's your one stop Martial Arts Academy that has something for everyone! Highly Recommended!!

The selfish side of me is hesitant to write this review; I kinda want to keep this place to myself. Oh well - at least there's plenty of parking... It would be easy to write about how encouraging, caring, and attentive Sensei Steve is when demanding the best from the kids - but I want to talk about the ensemble instead. Everyone who works and trains at AKA is of the same high calibre. Emily in front is a delight and welcoming, Sensei Jenna is a master of training multiple belt levels simultaneously and keeping it fun. Senpai Hunter will zero in to help anyone who is struggling and keep then on pace. Senpai Lexi is wonderful with the younger white belts. Having been at quite a few martial arts studios in my time, I can say that this one is a rare gem. But don't expect to glide through belts just because the staff if friendly and fun. These kids are worked hard, taught well, and are ready to show their skills on demand. It is a joy to behold.
