    I had a roof leak the night after Christmas. The leak was due to an old roof. We had the roof repaired out of pocket the very next weekday because we new insurance wouldn’t cover the cost of an old roof. I did however learn that Allstate would cover the cost of the damage below the roof. The picture you see here was the work from the water restoration company. It took about 6-10 days for Allstate to finally send the water restoration to dry out the walls and floor. Well it’s now been 25 days since we reported this to Allstate and NOT ONE THING HAS CHANGED. This picture is still how my home looks. 25 DAYS. During this process we have had 6 (counting today) scheduled appointments WHICH NO ONE SHOWED UP OR CALLED US for someone to come to the house and fix this hole. This is just insane. It’s nearly a month now and all that Allstate has done for us is rip a huge hole in our home in the middle of winter. I have two small children 3 and 5 years old. It’s nearly impossible for us to heat our home with these holes. Allstate just dosent care. Robert “Bob” Gallego is the agent responsible for this policy. Do yourself and your family a favor and think twice before covering your home with Allstate.

    My family has always had Mr. Bob Gallegos as our insurance agent. And.. When I say “has always had” I mean since before I was even born 40 something years ago!! My family’s been through “The Great Flood”, and a few “fender benders” some with insured and uninsured motorist. All of these are horrible experiences to deal with, having kickback or “issues” from your insurance is not what you want to deal with at those times.. And that’s why I continue our family tradition of Mr. Gallegos being our agent. They made all those experiences a little less horrible... But ultimately, to the day, I can call and say “Hi Keri or Cathy, it’s Felicia, sooo can we do this or change this?” You know, cut costs.. And there hasn’t been a time that I haven’t been received with a smile and a “ok, let’s see what we can do Felicia. Btw, how are your parent’s?”.. NOWHERE else will I get that service.. And because of that customer service, I will always be a customer of Bob’s..

    We started shopping for a new mortgage. One perspective mortgage company contacted this office for information and Allstate changed our policy over to this company in spite of the fact that at the time we had not filled out a loan application of Authority to Proceed (This mortgage company was too expensive). This took some effort to rectify. Last week we got a letter from this office saying that if we didn't pay immediately they would cancel our homeowner's policy. Mortgage company shows they paid in full a month earlier. Allstate website showed a number of totally random credits and debits - unrelated to the actual bill or money received. Website would not let me make up the difference. Allstate toll free number said that we had a zero balance! Last October we were rear ended. Other party's insurance company accepted total liability. We submitted our bills through Allstate who forwarded them to the other company. Last week Allstate hit us with a lien to cover contingency that the other company might not reimburse us even though Allstate acknowledged that our uninsured/under-insured coverage would protect us. This lien is impacting our refi effort and may cost us significant monies. Neither Allstate nor this office has justified this lien. Office insists that some of these issues are corporate issues rather than their office but once they start threatening us and bringing in outside lawyers all bets are off!!!
