John Lewis of O'Herren is the epitome of integrity. Some contractors do what's best for them, John does what's best for me.  My philosophy is "It's easy to do the job right when people are watching.  It speaks volumes to me when a man does the job right when no one is watching." The heart of John Lewis is to do the job right, period. My home is older than most.  When things needed repair or replacement, John's diagnostic capabilities were invaluable. O’Herren is the best! We ran into a major electrical problem at the beginning of June and John was quick to respond, showing up within an hour since we had an electric panel fire. He walked me through the issues and got us to a safe state. He explained my options and in the end he replaced the entire electrical panel. This took permitting, digging, rewriring, working with the city... Everything John said regarding the process was spot on, from the timing to the cost, it pretty much unfolded exactly like he said it would. That is the sign of a seasoned veteran. John doesn’t take short cuts and goes the extra mile to make sure the job is done to perfection. I’m also nosey and John had no problem explaining the “what and why’s” of the electric job. I got a free electrical apprenticeship class out of it :) I appreciated the work so much that I’ve referred O’Herren to friends and have had him back to help with other electrical jobs. Had a pool light that kept burning out, or so we thought. John came out and found our wiring was not correct, and went to great extent to expose all the wiring and ultimately fix the issue. He at first diagnosed it as something beyond my ability to understand but- it was going to expensive. He came out to do that fix, but had been thinking about his diagnosis and concluded that couldn’t be it. The actual fix was much cheaper and quicker Honest work well done. Couldn’t ask for more.
