Azul Verde did a fantastic job with my back yard remodel. We couldn't be happier. John and Marco were great managers and Gambino and Alfonso were rock stars in the field. August of 2018 we hired Azul Verde Design Group to construct a partial courtyard wall, and install a paver driveway. The contract stated 90 days to complete. April 2019 the project was still not finished, and I complained that I was not happy with the quality of materials and poor workmanship. It was suggested to me by their construction manager (Gary Orlando) that I should file a complaint with the Arizona Registrar of Contractors. So I filed a complaint, and won my case. Now I have to file a claim with the recovery fund so I can hire someone to repair the poor workmanship. I recently found out that the sub-contractor they used to do the work at my house(Jason Ritter owner of Most Valuable Pavers) had his license revoked several years ago, and does not have a license in his name to this day, but yet this company uses him. I will never use this company again, nor will I recommend them to anyone. This company uses cheap labor and materials on their projects. The job they did for me is proof of that. From inconsistent colors on the paver driveway to having the roof tiles put up and taken down six times on the courtyard ramada. The recent five star reviews seem to have been generated after I won my ROC case and I'm suspicious of them. If you want to see true fact go to the Registrar of Contractors web-site do a contractor search, type in their license number 108046 and look at more info my case is number 2019-01710. You shouldn't have to go through what we've been through just to try to enhance your homes appearance it's been a stressful and ridiculous experience. I wish you good luck with your construction projects, but do your homework don't get in a hurry, and stay away from Azul Verde Design Group and Most Valuable Pavers. Update: Got my check from the recovery fund for $8k and $10k off the balance of the contract. It's was a long process but, it's worth it. Maybe they'll start doing better business in the future. Azul Verde does exquisite and beautiful work. Michael designed the landscape and pool area for a home that we built 15 years ago. Having recently built another one, we of course sought out Azul Verde. It's exactly what we wanted, with creative attention to every detail. Both projects were actually enjoyable! They were totally different in scope and terrain, and we were so impressed that Michael could adapt so well to our needs. Their landscape maintenance crews are professional and responsive to any additional weekly request. Many of the crew have been with us since the first house.
