Guy’s impact and influence - a lasting impression Restoring Homes and Lives - In addition to Guy Collison’s calm, kind demeanor, I immediately noticed those words stitched on his work shirt the day we met, March 2, 2020. I gladly learned over the following days and weeks that Restoring Homes and Lives represents Guy’s profound purpose - a sincere working creed. Those words stand for a philosophy that offers real empathy and delivers peace of mind in the midst of chaos and crisis. They mean a commitment to go the extra mile with heartfelt concern and always with genuine respect. Restoring Homes and Lives says Guy Collison will make you feel like a cared-for family member and not a numbered customer. Our appreciation We can only offer our deepest gratitude and thanks to Guy Collison and his team for their extraordinary efforts during the four days they restored my sister’s Tempe home. Their remarkable performance ultimately resulted in a home sale and closing in less than sixty days. But, Guy’s many undertakings on our behalf didn’t end there. Our story I traveled from Indiana to rescue my sister from a frightfully unhealthy living situation, and I needed to return with her to Indiana in four days. Obstacles to be hurdled included time constraints, absentee transactions, moving personal property to Indiana, removing disposable items from the premises, both trash and useful giveaways. Finally, a stored vehicle needed to be sold. With my sister and me back in Indiana, Guy availed himself in all those matters through completion. Due to the pandemic, those tasks stretched to April 26, and Guy cheerfully completed each and every one. In addition to cleaning and sanitizing, Guy: Recommended our realtor, John Sposato, Arizona Home Group, for which we are eternally grateful (Please Google Arizona Home Group for my review.) Offered guidance to help me follow up with health services for my sister Communicated constantly via phone, email, and text Suggested the company that hauled away a hot tub Recommended the contractor who provided emergency service for an unexpected flood in the house Helped us find humane alternatives for cats that couldn’t be moved. Placed giveaway items with Goodwill and St. Vincent-Depaul, and traveled to the property multiple times to give those organizations access to their goods Delivered my sister’s piano to a Special Education classroom Drove extra trips to the landfill after the pandemic didn’t allow dispersal of all give-away items Sanitized the stored vehicle so it could be sold to the original dealer Result We closed on the home sale, personal goods arrived safely in Indiana, car sold to the original dealer, usable give-away items dispersed - none of that happens without Guy Collison.
