Mike Rieble, owner of Ark Pool Construction, has been our pool/spa guy and friend for 15 years covering everything from basic pool maintenance and equipment replacement, to a major complicated pool renovation. Mike is professional, knowledgeable, accommodating, as well as having a friendly personality. Our renovation project took several months to accomplish due to its complexity. Mike took a pool/spa that was featured in Phoenix Home and Gardens in August 2007 and turned it into a better pool/spa. Our "new" pool/spa is easier to maintain, takes a lot less chemicals, much less cleaning and is much more fun. In addition, we think the "new" pool is more attractive than the old one. Mike takes takes the difficult jobs others wouldn't touch and gets the job done. And the results are magical. Bottom line, we couldn't recommend "Big Mike" enough for your pool renovation or new construction.

We had a very challenging remodel that Mike handled expertly. Mike was recommended to us by a project manager of a large local pool company when that project manager overheard my wife and my conversation at a local tile store. The project manager had worked with Mike in the past and understood his unique capabilities in handling very complicated projects. Mike was also highly recommended by one of his past clients. We visited that client’s home and were able to confirm Mike was the person for our project. There are many unknowns with a remodel, especially on a hillside property sitting on rock. As the project progressed we discovered challenges that were not obvious when we started. We were able to work together to make necessary changes to achieve the desired outcome, within the agreed upon time frame, and managing to the budget. Mike is a hard-working pool expert who has worked with hundreds of pool installations. The subcontractors he had on our project were skilled at their craft, with years of experience. Our pool project was completed Dec 2018. We’ve been very pleased with the outcome. We maintained the “older look” of the prior pool, while benefiting from updated materials, a properly designed pool and deck, an improved deck layout, new seating areas in the pool, a new elevated seating space with spectacular views, a substantially quieter pool equipment room, and current automation leveraging mobile devices. We also increased the safety around the pool by adding railings and safer steps. We were happy Mike was up for the challenge and was able to deliver a wonderful finished product on time.
