Server thanked me for my service and told me my breakfast was free. I hadn't come in for a free breakfast but was thankful that they were honoring vets.
Village Inn restaurants will raise funds for the Folded Flag Foundation and are looking for a $5.00 donation which I was happy to donate to.
When I went to pay I was charged for my meal when I asked about the fact that I was told my part of the meal was supposedly free the cashier was confuse and started to give me guff about it. I stepped away told the manager that he had just disrespected a veteran and she really didn't have anything to say and Carole and I left.
So thank you Village Inn for your disrespect.
