Barbara and Joseph Beedle and extended family (Jim Beedle especially) have known Brenda for many years and purchased numerous pieces, especially her nautical chart water color prints. We have numerous personally autographed and messaged prints and have visited most of the sites she has captured. We are all photographers and observe that Brenda captures beautiful scenes better than we do! Years ago we ran into her on a trip to Anan Creek for bear viewing when she was guiding a group on her charter boat. We have been to her art shows and signings. We recently purchased ‘Alaska Travelers’ print via virtual holiday show/Metcalfe/Juneau ‘on-line’ - and receiving a personal note with the timely delivery! As explorers of all things Alaska (especially coastal, but all over AK) and collectors of fine Alaskana art, we treasure Brenda’s art at the top of the list. We hope to some day commission a piece capturing our HomeShore/Icy Straights cabins and boats near Glacier Bay. We have stayed overnight at Five Finger Light House, and visited almost all the scenes, and know many of the boats she captured. Thanks Brenda for sharing the beautiful places that you have visited through your wonderful hand and eye! Brenda is an absolutely fabulous artist! She specializes in painting Alaskan scenery on navigational charts which is so cool and unique! If you are an Alaskan native or enjoy traveling to Alaska, I highly recommend getting one of her pieces. You are inspiring, Brenda!
