Byler Contracting

Dennis' crew is incredibly hard working and fast. The building season in the Alaskan interiors is short, and he gets an amazing amount accomplished in a that short time. Best of all, the quality of the work is outstanding. His buildings all have solid "bones" and it is obvious that he truly has construction in his genes. I highly recommend his company based on my family's experience putting up multiple single family and multi-family homes. rw Service: Roadworks

This is recent 2/23/2021. I was attempting to buy the 1230 N Tigger dr. house. Byler contracting has NO communication skills what so ever. They sent me build plans, and we’re building off different plans. Jodi has no idea what’s going on or how things are working, because Micheal does not keep her in the loop. Jodi tell me to pick out lights, tile, and fans at Home Depot and just bring them by. Micheal says they don’t do that anymore. We agreed to do a meeting to get everything figured out. Micheal brought a lot of paperwork for the house that he said was supposed to be signed and was never sent to my realtor or me. Micheal said he’s just going to cut Jerry out of the picture and deal with us direct. Denis Byler calls me and said he canceled the meeting because it’s not Michael’s job (who is the project manager) it’s Jerry’s (who is the realtor). We’ll my realtor never heard from him. I told Dennis, Micheal obligated himself for this meeting and I’m working around their schedule to do this and they cancel on me AGAIN LAST MINUTE. All I wanted was answers and their side to be on the same page. Denis was absolutely rude would not let me speak, he talks over you and does not compromise or care about clients. Because I was unclear on what I was getting and none of my questions could be answered AND the poor professionalism that Byler allows its standards to be I pulled from the contract. If you are thinking of buying from them ask your community. You’ll find honesty there. I can’t speak for quality because I did not get the chance to live in a home they built, but ask around they’ll tell you it’ll fall apart in 2 years. I can only speak for their poor ethics and values that I have seen and dealt first hand with. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND BUYING FROM THEM.
