Chet's Fishing Guide Service

Chet had 4 of our party of 12. We had 2 other guides that were great, worked really hard, and had good success. The 2 other boats had 14 fish between them and guides were very personable. Chet sat in one spot for 4 hours and they landed 2 fish. That was a bit disappointing but it’s not just about numbers. The problem was that he never asked if they would like to try some different scenery or stay put. The entire experience matters too. Even worse was the fact that when we got back he had the 2 fish they’d caught filleted and left without getting a group shot. We had a great Alaskan vacation and some really fantastic fishing experiences. This wasn’t one of them. The 2 guides he had working were awesome. Chet wasn’t! I tried having a discussion about it afterward and all he could talk about was how good a guide he was. Pretty sad
