        I worked 5 seasons for Ocean Beauty while in high school and college. It was a great way to get experience in the workforce and also help pay for college! It can be hard work and long hours during the peak season, but if you have the right attitude time goes by fast. I'm very thankful for the experience.

        Well, this is my 1st time working here in Alaska. You work for about six weeks or more, depending on the salmon run. But, the majority is six weeks. Anyone who wants a nice check should come out and work. It is a lot of hours, I am putting like 16 or more a day. And, yes over time is always there us time and a half paid. They provide you with free, room and board, meals and wifi...lol and yes, free laundry service...only catch is complete the six weeks you are here and the free things I mentioned will not be deducted..
