Alaska's Gold Creek Lodge

The best trip - ever! The lodge is absolutely beautiful. I stayed in a yurt that was bigger than I had expected and the bed was warm and comfortable. The meals were excellent. Everything is so well planned and organized. I loved the personal attention. If excursion plans have to change due to weather, they'll offer the next best thing. Always something fun to do! The guides, Tyler and Blaine, are great! I am so ready to go back! Thank you Kat and Rob!

Where do I start? From the communication with Kat prior to the trip answering all my questions to the initial pickup at the King Salmon airport, this team is truly top notch. The cabins are cozy, spacious and clean. The main lodge is a great place to chill with a drink after a long day. The food was great, nice hearty breakfast, a packed lunch for the Brooks Falls adventure we had and then to cap it off a dinner to die for. I mean a gourmet dinner, the chef is amazing. You could not ask for more fresh high end food. The whole team is on a mission to make your stay a memory and you can truly feel it, you want for nothing. Thanks again Kat for a great experience in Alaska's Brooks Bears country.

Customer service is not a strength of the gentleman we encountered. We stopped by to get confirmation of our boat tour and were made to feel we had imposed on the manager, were stupid for not knowing the lodge was not the boat tour location, despite being told as such at the airport. As locals, it is disappointing to have a seasonal business interact with us so rudely.

They will treat you like family, like in a good way. Not like the annoying in-laws that drink too much or tell bad jokes. Like the Brother-in-law who knows how to fish or is a master captain or master ATV'er. Could not have had more fun. Alaska will always do what it wants. But Gold Creek will do whatever they can to make sure you enjoy yourself. Kat and the crew will keep you safe and fed. I walked on the tundra with my family and will never forget it. They are opening a place in the Bahamas, we are planning on going already. If we go back to Alaska, Gold Creek is a must.
