This is truly an Alaska roadhouse. There is a cozy eating area with a small bar. The kitchen is right off the eating area and you can hear them preparing your meal. I had the chicken fried steak, smothered in milk gravy and a large serving of real mashed potatoes. I will be back for another meal and to enjoy the Alaska atomsphere.

Great views of the lake from the lodge. The wood stove and the staff make for a very welcoming space. Wall mounts and furs give a true Alaskan feel. Outstanding home cooked meals Not to be outmatched. Clean rooms and a stiff drink will leave you well rested and satisfied
