Chair 5 Restaurant

We went here twice on our Girdwood trip. The first night we had the specialty pizza deep dish which was seriously amazing!! I mean we have some good pizza here in the Northeast but I was really surprised by how delicious theirs was. The 2nd time we went they had run out of things like the salmon so that kinda was a bummer. We had to get something like the rockfish fish and chips which were honestly pretty bad and definitely not worth $31 lol! The Alaskan "Wild Game" Burger was pretty underwhelming and basic too and not worth $28 at all. We really wished we would've just gotten the pizza a 2nd time lol.

Luckily we made it here just before the dinner rush. They were busy so service took a little bit. Menu is full of great selection. We opted for the Greek salad which was decent and a medium Chair 5 pizza. Both were good. Nothing spectacular but good overall. Next time I will try fish and chips or the chowder. We really enjoyed the interior design and art + history on the walls.

Its changed owners upon arrival we asked about the new menus lots of food items taken out and thats when we found out. Food was good but its not the same local place we loved to come to from a drive from Anchorage. We ordered the deep dish that was not in new menu its was almost the same. Also towards the end Im still eating my pizza slice and the lady was trying to take my plate away while I was having a bite, felt a bit rushed to get us out. But overall its ok.

Went here a few times. One of the more budget friendly spots. Had the game burger. Supposedly a mix of elk, bison, wagyu and boar. Ive had burgers separately but never combined. Assuming thats true it was very good. Though Ive heard from locals a difference of opinion. Service was great and attentive.
