Stayed here with a group of friends on a hiking trip. Uta and her husband were really cool and recommended places for us to go. The cabin was great, it had everything we needed. It’s WAY up there so you have to bring your own food, unless you fish, which I would do next time.

Uta was very friendly and welcoming. We stayed in the Koyukuk Cabin and all of us had a very restful sleep! Wish we had spent more time here!
If you're planning a trip up the Dalton, this is a great place to stay!!

Uta was an absolute gem just like her cabins. My parents, husband, and I stayed in the Koyukuk cabin and it was plenty of space. When she warms you that the cabin is very well insulated and to not leave the heat on too long, she is totally right! You will not be cold here even though you are in the Arctic circle! This is a great place to serve as a hub to go explore the Arctic circle, Coldfoot Camp, Wiseman, and the other surrounding areas.

I stayed here and at Boreal Lodging on my Dalton highway trip. This is an excellent place to stay. Cabins were very clean and had that Alaskan charm about them. Everything was much nicer than I expected given how remote the location is, the owners have done a great job with upkeep. Call ahead if you can.
