Updated deli selection has been pretty nice. Ice cream by the scoop, and the best cheese Danish in town. Dont buy the Danish though. Leave them for me!

The only reason a non-Alaskan resident will probably ever get to Bethel is for business. Not a lot of site seeing to be done this far into the Bering Strait. I was here archiving the Alaskan Govt. saving the Yupik Indian village at Newtok from falling into the ocean. Visit the clothing shop in this store to see the WAY Cool Native clothing. Authentic Mukluks that will shed water like a Seal and keep your feet warm as toast. And Buy a pair -- no matter What PETA says. It's one of the only ways the Indians can earn a living for crying out loud. Plus, you will look Ever so cool back home :)
