Dr. Robert Donaghy is the best optometrist! He was extremely thorough and kind. He will take a full hour with you and I appreciate that he does this rather than other doctors who try to get you in and out in 15 minutes. Due to his thoroughness, he was able to document an eye issue for me and no other doctor had found it over the last 10 years. I highly recommend him. His staff are also professional and nice.

A real common sense eye doctor with sound advice and reasonable rates. Great exams. The selection of glasses is simple and maybe a little outdated, I don't think you'll get the latest trendiest eyeware here.

I purchased both contacts and glasses here. The front counter (whom the Dr. had bragged had been with him 27 yrs) was more interested in giving me personal details about her love life and before I ever left I kept telling them I didn't think I could see properly out of the contacts. Long story short, the Dr. finally got the prescription right and my glasses adjusted after several months, and attitude from the front counter. HOWEVER, the 6 month supply of contacts that are the wrong prescription I am stuck with and they refuse to make it right by sending me the correct ones. A total waste of money and time. I am left not much better off than I was and out over $300!

The Optometrist at Sears Optical is a first rate guy. He put me in the chair a couple of years ago when I was uninsured and worried about a retinal tear. Free of charge. He just waved me away when I reached for my wallet and asked me to remember them when I finally did get insurance. Last year I remembered them and delivery of my eyewear went off almost without a hitch. This year, however, the dude currently at the front desk does not project an aura of competence. A mysterious lab mishap, then a mistake in mailing addresses makes it almost 2 months since my last exam and still no specs. No apologies, no placations, and no glasses. I'm going to try real hard to remember them again next year; but the front of the house service will need to be spot on to retain my customer loyalty.
