These guys built a PC for my dad a few years back. Recently he asked me to look at it because it was really loud and always took several minutes to boot up. When I opened his PC I found that these guys had wired all the case fans directly to the power supply instead of the motherboard. They actually had to cut and re-soldered the wires into a different connector to do this. These guys purposely went out of their way to make my dad's pc as loud as possible. The fans were drawing so much power that the PC would actually take about 10 minutes to even start booting after turning it on. If you're new to PC building avoid these guys.

Grateful. Friendly and knowledgeable staff, father and son, both Veterans trying to make a decent living doing their hobby. Happy. Good place to find computer parts, both new and vintage, better GPU prices than Best Buy, and great computer diagnostics and repair. Confident. Very knowledgeable in their field; a five minute conversation with one employee and I was able to push my tiny discrete AMD R7 240 to give me both the performance and graphics of a Nvidia GTX 950 just by moving a few parts to different pci-e port on my specific board and making some tweaks. Amazed. These guys really have seen everything; Dan was telling me about a water-cooled PC that was operated with a bulge pump from Lowe’s and a 5 gallon bucket from Home Depot!!! Suggestion. If you’re looking for something computer related on that side of town, do yourself a huge favor and stop by Custom CPU on the way there, if nothing else your trip will be paid for in good conversation. Fair. Don’t let the vintage monitors in the window scare you off before you look at everything else there, they have some really new stuff too for great prices, especially PSU’s, just tell one of them to set you up. Amused. It seems most people in the reviews have never talked to a Vietnam Veteran before; I cannot really blame them for not understanding; Vietnam was Hell on Earth and most of these guys probably think Hell is an IRL version of the video game Doom. Sarcastic. You can even read about it on his website, where he states that it’s the “Cranky Geek opinion,” so if you can’t handle his cranky humor like a grownup then you’re best off going to a place that will kiss your butt and treat you like a special snowflake with no emotional control.
