Our children attend AWANA at Hillside. It has been a wonderful experience. The church leadership is kind, welcoming, commited and loving. We would highly recommend this church.

Expository teaching of the Bible; not topical like I've experienced in the majority of churches. Pastor is highly trained in how to study the bible; he is currently finishing his doctorate from what he told me in a brief conversation. Looks to be a Covenantal interpretation of the scriptures versus dispensational. I would highly recommend this church for the teaching alone that comes from the pulpit. Currently there is an evening service where the pastor is teaching the book of Revelation. Not many pastors want to teach that book so I commend him on doing his homework and giving a studied view of it. Very solid, reliable, expository teaching from this pastor. Just goes through the bible text by text and teaches what it means as opposed to having a topic and then finding verses to support that topic, which usually ends up in many verses taken out of context and misinterpreted. I highly recommend this church for the teaching alone.
