        Lunch at the previous Joel's was a solid 4 stars. The new Joel's is barely 2 stars. Liver and onions was good. Turnip greens, straight from a can. Didn't even take the time to heat up the heat and serve rolls. The fried green tomatoes that I waited the entire meal for, were frozen, not the former hand sliced and batter dipped that the previous owners had their kitchen produce. Definitely not worth the $18 for 2 meals (one meat and 2 veggies, the other one meat and 1 veggie). Don't waste your time or money.

        Good comfort food just like Grandma's! Award winning mac and cheese! Something for everyone. Excellent sweet tea!

        Nothing fancy to look at but boy oh boy, the food was great! I had fried chicken, butter beans, collard greens & jalapeno cornbread & it was very very good. My sister talked me into trying the peach cobbler & it was very tasty as well. You gotta try it!

        Friendly staff, food is average and a little overpriced. Very busy when they are open, limited hours of operation. Now they are closed. Wasn’t that great but they had a good following.
