The hamburger steak my wife had wasn't seasoned well, and the mushroom gravy tasted greasy. The Texas toast was just warmed with no butter. The catfish and shrimp on the bar were hard, due to the high temperature. The cabbage and corn weren't seasoned, and all three vegetables had been sitting in the hot water too long still cooking.

This place is underrated and understated! The portions are enough for 2 people and delicious! I go at least twice a week! Once for dinner, and once for lunch. Very friendly staff, too!

Upon entrance I was greeted by Willy, one of the owners. Great. He offered me a seat and repeatedly said to let him know if I needed anything. Food on the bar looked and smelled great. Got to the desk to order a take out meal and the cashier was very rude and short. My receipt was placed on the counter instead of my hand that was held out. She didn't greet me, cut me off several times while I was ordering and shoved a pen at me. Her whole demeanor towards me was nasty. The staff from the back were nice; everyone greeted me as they came in contact with me and smiled. I was even offered something to drink as I waited on my food. This place really deserves 5 stars just on the food, back staff, and co owner Willy but the cashier ruined it for me and idk if I'll be back. Plate looks great except I asked for no mushrooms and it's loaded with them.
