image Cheryl who works with patient in up front is AWESOME....I'd hangout with her in a heartbeat, ( she's good people , I am a good at picking out good character 😉) also Angel who is in radiology was AMAZING 😇 she's very good at her job ( knowledgeable, professional) and bonuses bcuz she is very understanding, naturally caring....I know she anticipated pain and would do her best to get excellent x rays without hurting me worse 😇 Yes, she's True 2 her name 😇

image My father, Arthur Beard, was admitted to the ER this past Sunday and was subsequently admitted as a Covid patient. My father past away from Covid the following Wednesday. While my father was at Highlands he was treated with the upmost respect and compassion. I know the nurses were spread thin but they were so attentive to my father and treated our family like we were the only ones there. Every request was met quickly and my father received the best care imaginable. Thank you for all you did for the Beard family. Your love and care for your patients did not go unnoticed.

image I would give a 0 if I could! My daughter went there last night and was treated horribly. My family has lost 3 people this week. The hospital called me to say they couldn’t give her any medication unless she had a ride home. I told them I would be there but we lived an hour away. She went because she was having chest pains and trouble breathing. The Dr was in hallway and basically yelled that he was giving the patient (in her room) medicine that was gonna knock her fat a- - out and she should be embarrassed being 5’2” and weighing 180lbs for everyone in the er to hear. This is unacceptable!! They did an ekg not even explaining what it was and the nurse proceeds to tell her it’s not the best shes seen. They did a chest X-ray and gave her Benadryl some shot and did a breathing treatment. As I’m pulling up to pick her up they had discharged her handing her paperwork and saying have a good day with 3 prescriptions, not even explaining what she had and I wasn’t even there yet. One prescription was an antibiotic the other ibuprofen and the other I believe an inhaler not sure yet because I have to go get them. Also she needed to use restroom no nurse button in room and no one was coming so she unhooked herself and went to the restroom and no one said a word. This is totally unacceptable to treat someone the way she was treated! I have called to try and make a complaint waiting for a call back.
Update: Thank you Dr for giving my daughter a prescription for neublizer treatment when she doesn’t have a neublizer machine. Also let me add your knock out medicine didn’t knock her out she had 4 hrs of sleep!
