This group appears essentially unaccountable. They took $2000 from me for following manufacturer installation instructions to run roof panels parallel to rake rather than eave in cases where framing is imperfect (I guess they had to pin it on something because the homeowner sat on the board and didn't want to agree to a change order regarding poor framing which I was not responsible for). They also took $2000 from me for using 10 copper-clad trim nails to tighten up some already beautiful copper drip edge (they held me accountable for manufacturer's failure to ensure internal consistency of product - the product was sold by Builders First Source as compatible with copper and called it "copper trim nails"). There's no way to please this body - if they want to abuse their power, they will. Further, their new requirement to have training taught by them is sad because the instruction is low quality and the teachers talk about all the bad things they did and got away with and it was okay for them but not for anyone else. I think this group should be in jail for corruption and abuse of power.

Visited this establishment with the late Buddy Bowman that gave me work when none other's would. Despite my appearance this group of professionals made me feel very welcome. Thank you for doing such a great job. Buddy Bowman was proud to be a member of this organization.
